For the past year, violinist Mikaela and guitarist Danny have carried a secret: they are Gift-bearers—musicians able to tap into the invisible Overworld and wield music as a weapon for good on the Earth.
But they are watched, and as unwelcome visitors from the Underworld shatter the tranquillity of life on the Scottish Isle of Skye, troubled teenager, Gilda, also enters the arena.
Will Mikaela's and Danny's trust in each other withstand the threat of secrecy surrounding Gilda? And, as they fight to release the full potency of their music, will the ancient power be strong enough to withstand the worst the Underworld can throw at them?

Pete’s story behind the poem: “These words arrived in the weeks after our daughter did; provoked in to thinking again about meaning and identity. The piece is titled ‘what’s your name?’; it’s a question we get asked so often and probably answer on auto pilot. Perhaps it’s worth pausing on a little more often”.
